R3- Sc 2 times in the first stitch then sc once in the next stitch: repeat this pattern until you reach
the end of the round. This is the first increase. You should have 18 single crochet stitche
s in the round. (18sc)
R4: Sc 2 times in the first st then sc once in the next 2 st: repeat pattern to the end of the round (24 sc)
R5: Sc 2 times in the first sc then once in the next 3 stitches: repeat pattern to the end, increasing to 30 sc
R6: Sc 2 times in the first sc then once in the next 4 stitches: repeat pattern to the end, increasing to 36 sc
Rounds 7 to 17: Single crochet once in each stitch around (36 sc)
